Jacoby Drew (Marrs) Ortega

Jacoby Ortega, a 37 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 6:15 p.m., Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at her residence where she was under hospice care.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 23, 2026 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  A visitation is scheduled from 2:00 until 4:00 Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.  Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.

Jacoby Drew Ortega was born February 22, 1988 in Trenton to Jackie Wayne and Pamela Jane (Jacobs) Marrs.  She graduated from Trenton High School before receiving an associate’s degree from Missouri West in St. Joseph, MO and then a Pharmacy Technician certificate from N.C.M.C.  On June 5, 2010 she was united in marriage to Bryan Anthony Ortega in Spickard, MO.  She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.  Coby loved being loud and spending time with her family.

Surviving relatives include her husband Bryan, daughters Lillian and Roselee all of the home, Parents Pam Picket and husband Gary of Spickard and Jackie Marrs of Trenton, brothers Shey Marrs and wife Kelsey and Zach Marrs of Trenton, sister-in-law Jennifer Ortega, brother-in-law David Ortega and wife Lindsay, and nieces and nephews; Kanen, Oakley, Axel, Jordan, Kameron, Morgan, Emmett, Devon, Cloe, Alivia, Arianna, and Ayden.

Those preceding her in death include her grandparents, Bud and Betty Jacobs and Max and Lucille Marrs.
